Meeting Veterans' Needs
1
Identify and obtain approximately 2,000 acres of land, ideally in central Florida.
2
Build a small “resilience ranch” on this property to get started. This “resilience ranch” will resemble forward operating bases on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq. It will have a simple dirt road, use "FEMA like" trailers, tents, fire pits and focus 100% on the requirements these veterans need. This “resilience ranch” will be rustic and austere, but have exactly what these warriors need to get healthy. For many veterans, it will feel like they are back “home."
3
Build a commercial town center. This town center will become the home of more permanent facilities for helping veterans. We will also develop other projects here that will be designed to generate revenue to help us create self-sustainability. By creating opportunities for corporate America to succeed, will translate to directly helping V4V succeed with building solutions for veterans. We will be combining "not-for-profit" with "for-profit" projects to best effect.
4
Continue to develop the land, expanding out from the town center. We will be building assisted living and adaptive sports facilities as part of this phase. We will also be building more traditional housing options.
